My role on this planet is to write, and to help others bring clarity to the intersection of art, commerce, and the creative process. My work as a writer, producer and Executive Producer has been seen on hundreds of hours of top-rated television shows on A&E, Bravo, vh1, E!, fuse, NBC, Travel Channel, and National Geographic.
My writing online has been featured on many top sites including Zen Habits, Simple Dollar, The Interdependence Project, and BeliefNet and my no-budget film Jedi Junkies has frequently been the #2 documentary on Hulu, with over 300,000 views (for less than $800 in marketing and PR costs.
I live in New York City, on the Lower East Side. I have a play heading for off-Broadway in 2012 and am currently the show runner of a six episode National Geographic series.
I’m a huge music sponge and use music to inspire my writing and as soundtrack for my writing and life. I also have a regular Buddhist meditation practice that quite literally changed my life, and led me to want to share what I’ve learned to help others on their own creative paths.
